Me and my boyfriend cuddling Bea, Monty and Alice. Monty decided he’d have a nice stretch. I love the colour of his feet :)

Our last name :) This is Monty.
Monty (at eight days old) is a third the size of their biggest sibling (Bea). We raised these three ducklings out of a large brood from two days old as their mother was having trouble. Monty needed assistance to get out of their egg and was apparently rejected by their mother, but they’re doing wonderfully and catching up in growth :)

We have a name! :)
First of all please note that we don’t know if any of them are boys or girls. We don’t “sex” our birds physically as it is intrusive and breaks trust. We will know for certain when they start making adult male or female noises or their tail feathers finish growing, whichever comes first!
So, this is little Alice snuggled up under my dressing gown :) The end of their beak is slightly crooked which is just adorable!

Incoming! Introducing two 2 week old orphaned chicks. They are the only survivors from a fox  attack and we were passed them from a friend of a friend due to the fact we have a heat lamp. They were still too traumatised to eat, drink or move when we first got them but they’ve perked up into healthy and cheeky young birds :) We have the feeling Ginger on the left is male, and Harriette on the right is female, we’ll see ;)
